Question about Depo Shot?!

Question:

Question about Depo Shot?

Well my last period started June 1st (it was late) and i was at the doctor so i wasn't pregnant at the time. Well she put me on the depo shot and i went back on the 4th to get it, (still on my period it was day 4). Well for the past 2 weeks my husband and I have been having unprotected sex. This is my first time ever being on birth control and so far it's going good. I just want to know what are my chances of being pregnant? I mean if i am that will be great, when can i take a preg. test to find out? I was on the shot for exactly 1 week before me and my husband had sex (he's in the army and came home on the 9th), so had it been in my system long enough to become effective? And don't talk about std's or anything because i know i'm clean and he is too (checkups) plus we are married so there is no sleeping around on each other. No negative comments please!!!

Answers:

No contraceptive is 100%. I know someone who got pregnant on depo.

You are protected on depo for three months.

They say the shot is affective immediately but you should use a second form of protection for at least two weeks.
