Will I keep on growing?!

Question:

Will I keep on growing?

I'm 14 years old, around 5'2" and I got my period last year. How much longer will I be able to grow? My mother is only a little taller than me.
I'm not too active when it comes to exercise.

Are there any things I can do to help me grow more in the years I have left to grow?

Answers:

How tall is your dad? If he's tall for a man, then you are probably going to be an average-heighted girl. If he's average, then you will be in between average and short. If he's short, then I'm sorry...you will most likely remain short. You can certainly continue to grow: people told me i'd stp growing after my period, but I still grew a little over two inches.

You can't make yourself taller, but there are ways to achieve your maximum height. Eat healthy, balanced food: lots of proteins and carbs, and get plenty of calcium. Also I think being active would be a plus. I'm not telling you to join your schools varsity track team, but maybe try to squeeze in 1/2 hour of biking or gentle jogging each day? its not that hard. I hope that this hleps and good luck!
