I think im starting to get my period...my very first period ever. and i have this pain in my lower stomach and i have a headache could this be cramps ?

Yes, this could be because of cramps. Please let your mom know as well so that she can give you additional information. As for how to help it if she says ok you can try something like Midol or Ibuprofen or Tylenol even. Also, a heating pad or hot water bottle can be of some help to some of this pain.
