That's a sign of endometriosis. Birth control should help. If you're anti- BCP's or don't just want to take hormones, ask your doctor about Meclomen. It's an NSAID like Aleve or Advil but it works in an extra way - it reduces your flow. Less flow means less pain. It could be exactly what you're looking for. OTC crap has never worked for me.
