Could I recieve Toxic Shock Syndrome with other objects besides tampons?
Such as for example if someone used like a banana and perhaps fragments of it remained deep within in the vagina?

TSS is caused by bacteria growing because it is blocked by something, usually something like a tampon or a diaphragm. A banana is soft and if fragments of it broke off, chances are that it broke down and was squeezed out of your vagina if any remained. The problem I can see with the banana is that it has a high sugar content, and could have encouraged other bacterial growth, but not TSS which needs an oxygen-free environment to grow. If you get itchy, call the doctor and they will be able to treat it without you getting into the nitty gritty of bananas in your vagina. Which brings me to the next point, and that is, if you need to masturbate, cucumbers and carrots (well cleaned and up to room temperature) are a better idea as they don't tend to leave things behind.
