Will my doctor prescribe me growth hormone pills?!


Question:

Will my doctor prescribe me growth hormone pills?

I am 19 and my height is only 147 cms.

I will go to my doctor soon and ask her if she could prescribe me those pills but is she allowed to in this kind of situation?


By the way I live in New York


Answers:

First, growth hormones do not come in pills, but daily injections. I think at 19 you are too old to start.

Also I hope you have very good insurance that will cover it because it cost about $25,000 per year.
