Has anybody tried the depo shot?
if you've had the injection or know someone who has would you recommend it? tell me about you're experience if you can, thinking about going on it but want a bit more background info.

I found the depo to be the best method of contracption for me, you dont have to worry about taking pills or buying condons etc.
One thing that I found (which wasn't a problem for me personally) is that my period stopped and I would just get slight spotting now and again around the time when the next injection was due.
I never had any bad side effects from the depo but had to stop taking it due to a blood clot on my lung, I dont know if the depo was the cause of the clot but I very much doubt it.
