ok i started my period a week or 2 ago and i want to use tampons becasue i LOVE TO SWIM!!!!! but i have naver shoved something up that far and i am scared that it might go up tooooo far......

It won't! Start with the junior sized tampons (Tampax pearl are great for starters or even playtex gentle glide or sport... they have a plastic plunger instead of a cardboard one so they are much easier to put in!). Read the instructions on the tampon box or have your mom or older sister help. Even a friend can help you! Women all over the world have gone through what you are now and can help you with all your questions! After you use tampons for a couple days it becomes second nature and getting them in is very very easy. The hardest part in the beginning is getting over being scared about sticking something inside you... it is very strange. Don't go easy tho! When you put it in right you will know because when you sit or move you wont feel it at all! Good luck!
