What causes breast pain?
I always get breast tenderness and soreness about a week before my period. This month I started feeling that about 2 weeks before my period, and the past 2-3 days my breasts have hurt VERY badly. The feel sore all over, heavy, and painful! The worst pain is on the sides all the way up to the armpit which feels like a bad bruise when touched. They also have a heat sensation and look a little swollen/fuller. I thought for sure I must be pregnant, but I took an EPT test with my first urine today and got a very negative result. It is 2 days before my expected period. Do you think this pain is just a fluke this month, or do you think there's still a chance I'm pregnant and tested too early? What else could cause this kind of pain and sensations? Its NEVER been like this before, I feel like I want to cut them off! Haha. Thanks.

I will be perfectly honest with you. It could be one of two things.
Your period could be kicking you super hard this month...and trust me I have been there!
OR...the pregnancy test failed that you took...it can happen if they sit on the store shelf...and you are pregnant.
I would bank on either one, but your pain sounds more like what I had early in my pregnancy.
The only absolute way to know is to have a blood test done at your doctor office. They are fool proof!
