Concerns about sterilization of your pins is a main concern I have. IF you're unsure, remove them, and let them heal. But if you are adamant about keeping them pierced, then be sure to soak each nipple in a sea salt and water solution (2 Tblspns / 6 oz warm water) at least twice each day, morning and night. Rotate the studs fully one turn after the saltwater soaks (twice each day) for the next 3- 4 weeks. If you have rings, they need to be rotated through the piercing twice each day, like the studs, from CB (captured ball) side to CB side. I recommend that you keep the studs in until the hole has healed, about 4 weeks for nipples. Watch-out for infecton, as even with a professional job, there are infections. IF you have an infection, go see your family physician, as it may need to be lanced as well as you go on antibiotics. The tenderness will be severe and the nipple will ooze a liquid that is green or yellow in color. THAT'S an infection! If the liquid is clear or slightly white, it's normal, and should crust daily.

You should ABSOLUTELY wear a bra! If you have rings, flip them up for part of a day, and then down for the other part of a day. You can lay on your breasts, but you may find them tender. Sleep using a bra for the first 3 weeks, if you feel the need, but not a tight one.

You should shower daily at least, and swimming may be off limits, due to possible infections from strep of staph in the water, for at least 3 weeks. And yes, you can lose sensations if the nipples aren't properly pierced at the proper location, but initially, your sensations will be . . . TREMENDOUS . . . even when the wind blows, you'll feel it!

You will not be able to comfortably breast feed when you finally get pregnant, so they will have to come-out during the nursing period (some still do with studs, but not rings). It's tough for a baby to latch, and that will cause you great pain as your breasts swell and engorge. Just best to remove and replace after your child-bearing years.

Hope that gives you some positive answers to your questions. You really should have thought about this a little more before doing this, or at least, with Google, done some research. But that's a moot point now. Any further piercings, please seek a professional first, get their insight and care instructions. I think I still have my ex's instructions, which might be more insightful. I'll see if I can locate the instructions.
