Congratulations on your first period! :-)

If you don't have any pads of your own then look for where your mom may keep her pads and use them for now - even if your mom uses tampons she will still have pads as women can't just wear tampons through their periods, if she uses menstrual cups she may not use pads though. If you can't find any of her pads, then you could call your mom if that's possible and she might be able to tell you where there are pads, or get your dad or someone to get pads for you. you could also go to a female neighbours house or a friends house to ask them to borrow some pads for now.

You can tell your dad - seriously honey there is honestly no reason not to tell your dad, he knows that you are a female and so at some point you will menstruate, your periods are nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about - if you need sanitary pads then just tell him you think you have your period and ask him to pop to the shop for you. It's no big deal.

If worst comes to the worst then you can always either use toilet paper wrapped around your underwear, or clean cloth or face-cloth wrapped around your underwear just to protect it for now until your mom comes home and she can get some pads for you. Plenty of girls do this, some girls use cloth pads made from material too, it's actually more hygienic to do this than use commercial pads, so perfectly okay to do - just keep checking to make sure the blood doesn't soak through.

Think about what to do once your mom comes home, how you want to tell her, what you want to ask her, and how you want to celebrate, you might also want to check out this article to start learning a little more about your periods...On the Rag: A Guide to Menstruation - http://www.scarleteen.com/article/body/o…

Go into the bathroom and see if your mom has pads there, if she does then put one on. If not, then call a friend and see if they or their mom has a pad you can use. Everything will be fine, just have to see if you can find someone who will give you a pad. Maybe a friend's older sister may have one?? If you can't find anyone, see if you can just use some toilet paper until your mom comes home, that is your last resort.

Go into the bathroom and look for some pads (in the closet or under the sink) If you cannot find any. You can temporary fold up some toilet paper and put in in your underwear. But that won't last for long. From here you have two options.
Option 1- Ask dad to take you to the store and buy some pads or tampons. For your first period i would recommend pads. Don't worry he will understand.

Option 2- Call your mom and ask her where she keeps her feminine products. She too will understand.

just go to the bathroom, and look for a pad. if you can't find any just put tissue under where your period is coming out. just wait like until your mom comes back
or you could just tell your dad
i think i am pretty sure he knows what period is
and he will help you
but if i was you i would just wait for my mom:) i hope this helped

I'm sure your mom has some pads somewhere in the house. If you have more than one bathroom, your best bet is under the sink in the one she uses the most. Take it out of the wrapper, peel the cover off the sticky part and stick it into your panties (in the middle, not toward the front or back). And this may seem silly to add, but don't flush the wrapper or the pad...they can really mess up a plumbing system. Best of luck

ok, if it light use toilet paper or pantyliners until she does or call her if u have a phone or a house phone.. but dont worry, its nothing to worry about

use pads take a warm bath and have some midol or advil to ease your cramps also lay low

Call your mom. Don't be ashamed or embarrassed to tell her.

Does your mom have pads any where In the house? If not call her and ask her what you should do
