Try to stop my period?!

Question: Try to stop my period?
I just started my period today and I'm supposed to go stay at my boyfriends tomorrow. To save myself the embarrassment of having to be knit all weekend at his house I would like to stop or delay it. I just took three of my old birth control pills. And I will take three in the morning. Will this work? Will it hurt me?

Answers:

It will not work! Your boyfriend will understand, and if females live with him, they will also understand and may help you out with how to dispose of them, or provide you with STs if you run out.

When you have your period it is the lining of your uterus starting to shed, which is why it bleeds. I seriously doubt giving yourself high doses of estrogen will do what you're wanting. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if six birth control pills in a twenty four hour period caused other health issues.

Just read the sheet of paper that comes with your medication...

You can't stop your period. It's a natural process that has to run it's coarse. And I don't think you should have taken 3 birth control pills. There was really not even a reason for you to take one because your period can't be stopped. I wouldn't suggest taking 3 again tomorrow because if anything, this will harm you not help yoou.

Put a cork in it.

There's no need to worry about being perfect anymore. It turns out that no one is at www.perfectlynot.com
