I am in my mid-twenties and have started to sprout a fine moustache!.

you can bleach or wax at home with home kits! be sure to get facial hair wax strips though! NOT THE ONES FOR YOUR LEGS! i have this probalem also! i usually nair mine off! :PWww@Answer-Health@Com
That's quite common, I have that too!. It is more noticeable if you are like me and have dark hair!. I tend to wax it off!. You can buy a special solution that bleaches that hair, but I found that it bleached the skin too making it more noticeable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the hair is coming in thick like that of a MANS MUSTACHE then that's a sign that it could be HORMONES !. If this is the case you should have your Hormone levels checked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you bleach then you can still see it in the sun so try waxingWww@Answer-Health@Com
either use hair removal cream, bleach the hairs or possibly pluck them!.
Just never shave them, cos they will come back though like a mans stubble!.
