By "safe" do you mean that pregnancy is not likely to occur!? First off, there is no 100% "safe" time and the condom is not 100% effective either!. Also,when most people use the term "safe" they are referring to protection from sexually transmitted disease!. Think of using a condom like wearing your seat belt in the car!. Seat belts don't stop someone from getting in an accident, getting hurt, or getting killed; they minimize risk!. The condom does the same thing-- it minimizes risk!. Women still get pregnant and can still transmit or contract STDs, even with a condom!.
