Swollen or retaining water?!
Question: Swollen or retaining water!?
I noticed my ankles looked kind of thick a few days ago!. I was looking at them and feeling them to see if they were sore because they may have been swollen, but they don't hurt at all!. But when I was pressing on them I noticed that under my skin it was like molding clay or something!. I could press down on it and it would stay for a minute!. I was googling it earlier and I heard about water retention and I'm wondering if that's what it is!.

This sounds like water retention--known in the medical field as edema!. Water retention in the foot or ankle region is known as pedal edema!.
This is only usually a sign of something serious if you have a heart condition!. Otherwise, water retention is quite normal in females, especially during PMS!. You might want to watch the sodium in your diet--too much salt in the body causes it to hold in water!.
