Question: Uterine Fibroids!? Any info helpful!.!?

I was just diagnosed with uterine fibroids and am not sure what to expect!. Can they turn cancerous!? How are they treated!? Is there a way to stop them from growing!? Any info would be helpful!. Thanks!.
