Question: Ovarian cyst and infertility!?
I have a rather large ovarian cyst found last week (I have had these since I was 19 now 27), and me and my boyfriend are on the "if it happens it happens" method(if we get pregnant we get pregnant)!. Now if they just found this cyst could this be a reason I have not gotten pregnant!? We don't try but we don't take precautions!. We plan on actually trying maybe within a year!. My period has been awful in the past few months not on time and sometimes early sometimes late!.

Most definitely it can cause infertility!. It happened to my sis-in-law!. She was trying to have a 2nd child and after 5 years of trying, she got checked out to see what was wrong and found out she had an ovarian cyst on one side and another issue with endometriosis!. She scheduled the two minor operations to remove the cyst and correct the endometreosis and within 3 months of having them corrected, she got pregnant like that!. She's 4 months pregnant now!. Absolutely!. You are probably not ovulating normally!. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) so I know about this!. You might want to ask your doctor if he/she can test for that!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Did the Dr mention PCOS (Polycyctic Ovarian Syndrome)!. If so then yes that could certainly be the reason you can't get pregnant!. You can search PCOS!. I have it and it can cause several problems!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
