Question: Girls, which tampon is best for first time users!?
okay so, mom is finally letting me use tampons, shes buying some tomorrow!.
which brand is the best, and why!?
i heard playtex gentle glide was the best!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Definitely Playtex, any type!. I like them because they open up all around, not just width wise!. A lot of people say Tampax is way better but don't believe it!. It may be easy to put in, but getting it out hurts like hell!. Especially if you are on a light day!. And since Playtex opens up all around, it comes out smooth and easy!. I do admit that I used Tampax, until I went to the store with my mom and picked it out myself!. I actually still have a whole box of Tampax tampons under my sink still, after going through tons of boxes of Playtex! :oWww@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't really matter what brand you use as long as it's a plastic one!. Your going to want to start off with the smaller size tampons(probably regular at the biggest), and if you have a heavy flow like me you going to have to change more then if you use a bigger tampon!. Your going to need to buy some pantyliner too just to protect your pants and undies from leaks since your still getting used to tampons!.

No offense to my mom but she was a ***** handing me a normal size carboard tampon for my first time!.

These day's I prefer the playtex sport becuase there is no leakage whatsover, a bit more pricey but I'm active and my softball uniform pants are white!. -_-'Www@Answer-Health@Com

Playtex gentle glide for everyday use, but if you are going out to like a sporting event, or doing sports, get the playtex sport tampons!.

Also, good one are tampax pearl!.

But, make sure you never get the cheap tampons like store brands and such, because they are uncomfortable and the outside is like cardboard!.

And don't worry, just follow directions and relax, its really a simple process!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I like anything plastic!. Tampex Pearl is good too!. No matter what get regular or slim/light cause it'll be good for your first time!. Super sizes will be bigger and more awkward when you're first trying them!. Make sure you push them in far enough so you can't feel it, people who say they don't like tampons probably aren't putting them in far enough!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as it has a plastic applicator, it should be good!. Cardboard is a bit tricky for first timers and it's slightly more uncomfortable!. I really see no different between the brands, just make sure you get the right absorbancy for your flow!. Ask your mom to get you like two boxes -- or at least a mixed pack!.
Www@Answer-Health@Com

you heard right, but get smaller first, because you are, or i would not think you are sexually active, so therefore, a smaller is more size appropriate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Playtex Gentle Guide are great!.!.!.try regular absorbancy to start!. Playtex used to make one called Beyond that were also really good, but I haven't seen them around lately!.!.you might have better luck finding them!. And Playtex beats Tampax anyday!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you're right, it's a good brand!. don't get anything higher than regular absorbancy for the first time either, since a smaller tampon will be easier to use!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

definitely platex gentle glide!.!.they are very comfortable

but whatever you do try to stay away from the off brand card board kind because those for me were extremely irritating and highly uncomfortableWww@Answer-Health@Com

they are the best
they are the most comfortable
try the light version maybe because its the easiest to put in
especially for the first timeWww@Answer-Health@Com

A good friend of mine died from toxic shock syndrome a couple years ago, so I wouldn't recommend using tampons!. Pads are annoying, but at least you won't die from using themWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's about personal preference!.
Just keep trying different brands until you
find which one is best for you!.
I use tampax pearl!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is, for begginers!.
The small, smooth applicator!.
I love them!
But lately, I have to use cardboard!.!. -shiver-Www@Answer-Health@Com
