What does it mean when the doctor tells you your cervix looks good?!

Question: What does it mean when the doctor tells you your cervix looks good!?
(I already asked this question but I wasn't clear enough)

Does this mean if I have hpv or cancer it's curable!? I'm scared!. I'll be frank!. I've heard and read about all these HPV's and cancers and I haven't slept in two months!. I'm scared!. I look at my 7 year old and start crying!. I can't handle leaving him!. My aunt just died of cervical cancer yesterday!. I just need to know if my cervix looking good was a good sign or just a phrase that means nothing for my results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with the first poster!. "Good" means healthy!. If you're that worried, then get a second opinion!. As long as you're going in for routine gynecological exams, then you're probably fine!.

I'm very sorry about your aunt!. Cervical, colon, and breast cancer run in my family and I'm concerned about it, too!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It means no visible papilloma, no visible "growths," no sign of infection!.

It means you probably don`t have any pre-cancerous cells on your pap - if your doctor says it looks good!.!.!.relax!.!.!.it looks good!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off I am SO sorry for the loss of you Aunt! Big hugs to you!

If she said it looks good, I would think that means it looks healthy and there doesn't appear to be any problems!. If you had any type of HPV or Cancer I am certain she would have made that clear to you!. If you are still unclear on what she told you, you can always call her office and ask to speak with her, I'm sure he would be happy to discuss it with you over the phone to clarify!. If she's not available when you call, leave a message asking for her to call you back!. If you feel that she was wrong, you can also always go and get a 2nd opinion from another Doctor just to put your mind at ease!. Best wishes!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
