Question: What should I do!? (period)
My daughter, is 12 years old, and started her first period on Monday!. Her friends asked her to go swimming a the lake tomorrow, and my daughter really wants to go, but will her period end tomorrow!? I always going swimming when I have my period!. The water will slow down or possibly stop the flow while she's in the water!. By now it should be tampering off!. Good luck and let her goWww@Answer-Health@Com
If it hasn't ended, just let her wear a pad with shorts over her bathing suit!. Or last month when me and two of my best friends were going to a water park, my best friend started her period that morning, &her mom told her that if she got, &took off the pad, &stayed in the water, that she wouldn't start bleeding till 10-15 minutes after she was dry!. So maybe she could explain to her friends that she's on her period, &i'm sure she'd have no problem(:Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well I know this sounds a little wierd, but usually first periods are very light, so maybe she could just go and not wear anything!. She could wear a pad on the way there, and then just take it off right when they are about to enter the lake!. And first periods don't last very long either, so wait and see tomorrow!. =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
well the only way she can go swimming is by her using tampon!. with her being twelve i understand you being scare about it!. but as long as she only uses them to you know go swimming when she's on her period i dont think you should worry!. has she used one before!? i use them all the time and they're really simple to use but with her being so young you should keep her on pads!.

what im guessing is that tommorow her blood wont come alot because it is her first time!.!.!.tell her to put tissues in her bathin suit wear it than dispose it in the bathrrom!. Than in the lake tell her not to wear anything because the water is going to wash the blood away!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think anyone can tell u exactly when your daughter's period will end for sure!. How ever they make these tampons called o!.b!. They don't have applications and will be a lot easier the first time!.!.!. They worked for me when I was younger =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
I feel sorry for her but I think it would be the best if you see if she finishes her period first and if she does then I would let her go but if she is still on her period then I wouldn't let her go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There arent any really safe ways, Like Not Eating but for some girls its ok if ur on ur period because the the water pressaure stops the flow!. But dont let her use a tampon because she can luiterly dieWww@Answer-Health@Com

It could possibly end!.!.!.it should be tampering off soon!. My first period was quite heavy!. But tampons will have to be the only way!. Only her body and her hormones will decide when to finish!. There is not way to make a period pass faster!.
You could use a douche but it raises her risk of getting a yeast infection!. Naturally is the best way for it to pass as the vagina is a self cleansing organ!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
