i am not too sure about the mirena!.
i have the paragard which is the one without hormones!.!.
with that one u are protected right away!.!.!. so u dont have to wait but most likely u wont want to with in the first 2 days since its a lil painful!. i reccomend u taking 2 motrins before heading to ur appointment to get it done!.!.!.
