Go and buy pads immediately as not to soil yourself and your clothing!. Also, if there is a woman in your family that you are close to, that would be a wonderful way to get some advice!.!.!.

However, a great sit is beinggirl!.com, which has great info, product samples, etc!.

When I first got my period i didnt tell my mom right away cuz I was embarassed!. What I did was used her tampons till I was ready to tell her!. I just slid them in the cart at the grocery store and she said we dont need them and I said I did and that was the end of it!. No awkward conversation or anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it's only a tiny bit of bleeding, wear a pantiliner or thin pad!. If it's alot of bleeding, wear a thicker pad or even a tampon (put a pantiliner on too incase it leaks)!. Also, give your mom a heads up so she knows you have your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ask your mom, it may seem akward but you'll find yourself talking to her about it a lot after you start!. if she's not home call her and tell her it's less weird if it's not in person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
