Embarrassing!!! Red inflammation...down there?!

Question: Embarrassing!!! Red inflammation!.!.!.down there!?
I had a yeast infection down there a while back and while the symptoms have gone the area is still really red!. It almost looks like a burn or scald!. Could this still be a remainder of a yeast infection or could i have had a reaction to a cream or something!? I have had it for months now and i dont know whether i still have an infection or not!. Has anyone else experienced this!? Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Do the following
* Eat as much un-sweetened yogurt (i!.e!. PLAIN yogurt) as you can three or more times per day!.
* Take a GOOD acidophilis capsule per day (or as directed)
~ Check at your health food store they will assist you!.
* If you can possibly wear ONLY COTTON underwear!.
* Ensure your hygiene is kept ~ bathe regularly!.
* Use soap-free wash products and rinse thoroughly!.
* DON'T EAT high SUGAR products if you can help it; anything with SUGAR will make it difficult to rid yourself of this problem!.

If you have had an infection it can take TIME to fully clear up and antibiotics can cause flare ups and it needs immediate attention (as per above)_ good luck with handling this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the big question here is wether you really had a yeast infection down there!.!.!.sounds to me like you have bacterial vaginitus!.!.!.which causes some redness slight swelling and a not so pleasent odor at times!.!.!.and this will not get treated by simple over-the-counter yeast infection meds!.!.!.you should go see a dermatologist or a gyno!.!.!.

Its not nessecarily a sexual transmitted disease but it is more common for sexually active women to get this kind of infection!.

Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is probably a rash!.!.!. Go to a gynocologist immediatly!. It could be dangerous! Also, don't be embarrased to say vagina, etc!. To be embarrassed is essentially saying that you feel ashamed to be a woman!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to make an appointment ASAP and possibly need to be put on some antibiotic or you might be allergic to the ointment you are using!. I would stop using the ointment and contact or doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes do see a doctor
but in the mean time avoid using any types of scented soaps (including body wash )down there
it could be a bad reaction to itWww@Answer-Health@Com

It could just be the color of your vagina!. If you have doubts, go back to your GYN Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

if its not swollen and doesnt hurt i wouldnt worry about it!. but if you are very concerned call your gyno and get his/her opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
