Pantyliner Help??!
Question: Pantyliner Help?!?
Okay, I am 11, 5' and 76 pounds!. I have had discharge for probably a year now and I haven't told my mom yet!. I'm sure she knows, as she does the laundry, but I want to tell her just in case!. Also, I NEED Pantyliners, but I don't know how to tell her, and I was so nervous that I cried when I asked if I could shave my legs!. I also need to know these things!.!.!.
1) How long can you wear the same pantyliner!?
2) Is it okay for someone my age to use pantyliners!?
3) When I DO have my first period, will I be okay to wear a tampon, or should I use a pad!?

As for how to tell your mom that you need pantyliners just let her know that you need to talk to her about something personal and could you guys to a more private area to discuss it!.
Then when you get to another part of the house let her know that you have been having this discharge for a while and wanted to let her know that you would like to see about getting some pantyliners for days when it's heavier than other days!.
On the other questions:
1!. If the discharge is heavier on a certain day I would recommend changing the pantyliner about every 3 hours but otherwise you can go about 5 hours!.
2!. Yes, it is ok for someone at your age to use pantyliners!.
3!. With your first period I would recommend using pads to start off with!. The reason is because it's easier to work with than a tampon for a first period!.
4!. As for how to talk to your mom about periods, sex, and boys I would start with one thing at a time!. Let her know that you would like to have some time to talk with her about all aspects of periods (this is a subject I would recommend starting off with as it is a lot easier to discuss right now)!.
When it's time to discuss that just let her know that you would like to talk to her privately about that!.

I no what you mean its hard telling your mum stuff like that, i just blurted it out as she walked past me one day :D & she took over asking questions
remember your mums gone through it so theres nothing she won't no [hopefully]
sex & boys i think you should leave till your a little older :)
don't want to shock your mum because i no my mum got really emotional when she found out i came on my period like my babies growing up
