Question: Was wondering if i cud start using evening primrose oil and red raspberry tea @ 35 weeks!?
Answers:
I seen my midwife today and asked her what I could take to try and keep from going over my due date and she said to start the evening primrose oil at 36 weeks and the red raspberry tea at 37 but I think I'll try the epo now and the rrt next week (I'm 35 weeks) it helps to soften and prepare the cervix and strengthen the uterus!.!.!.!.!.I was told 500mg of epo 3x a day so I may start with 2 and then add the 3rd one then add 1 1/2 cups of rrt she said I should drink 3 cups of it daily and I could add sugar!.!.!.!.good luck hopefully our babies will be here asap but not to soon if you start now just build yourself up to the full dosage over the next week or soWww@Answer-Health@Com

the general suggestion is to start taking raspberry leaf tabs or tea at 36 weeks!. You dont all of a sudden start to labour, it is a gradual strengthening of the uterus and makes the removal or placental stage easier!. i have been on this for the last two weeks currently 38!.5, and hope it helps the birth process!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, you do NOT want to deliver this soon! The baby is not ready yet, he/she can have breathing issues if born too early and trust me, you do not want that! Second, even if you did take it, chances are it wouldn't do a thing!. You have to be ready to deliver or at least close (meaning 38+ wks), for anything like that to work!. Just have patience!.!.!.the baby will come when it's time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well my sister was advised to try raspberry tea at 40 weeks, not sure if it's wise to try at 35 weeks incase it starts contractions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
