well heres the thing!. i'm only 12, haven't had my period, but i've already had sex!. and no it wasn't rape, and i was totally sober!. but i'm just scared that now i might be broken somehow and i won't be able to have children if i want to!? and will i ever get my period!? i'm really scared!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i may not agree with the ages but you should know the facts so here they are as much as i can give!. about sex your period , birthcontrol legalities and so on!.

you will at some point get your period a female can get her period any wheres from age 8 to age 18 some times even older!. how ever you can can get pregnant with out getiing your period because you have to ovulate before you get your period!. what happens is roughly your vagiunal walls build up a linning your overies drop an egg into you ruterus is the egg is not fertalized meaning the guys sperm doesnt join it in your uterus, then once a month some times twice depending on your cycle but usually once your body sheds the egg and the lining and thats the blood that you see!. your period can last from 2 day to 8 days you can have a painful period or a pain free period it depend on your body!. your flow may be light on some day and heavy on others or heavy or light or inbetween the whole time!. to see a brownish discharge is normal when on your period!. youll usually see it in the beginning or at the end!. or both!. at first you dont have a normal cycle this usually takes a few years to develope!.
so on to sex
well with sex theres alot of ricks!. and this is why people say wait until your married or atleast not playing with pet shop ne more!. there is of course pregnancy and then there are the stds sexually transmitted diseases!. such as crabs hearpies, the clap, clamidhya !. gonorihia, cyphilis, genital warts, and then theres the once that can and or will kill you like hpv can cause cancer and with allot of hpv if they can cure it you chances of having children are slim to none, and then the big ones HIV and AIDS!. yea they will kill you!. no doubt about it therea no shout you can get no pill you can take you will die!.
so if your going to have sex have smart safe sex use a condom and birthcontrol everytime!. not almost everytime but everytime!. and heres some more facts ever person your partner has slep with you are sleeping with to !. and about 1 out of every10 people you sleep wiht has or has had an std!. so think about it if you sleep with 1 person a year until your 21 one of those people has had somethin or still has somethin!. and if those 10 people also slept with 10 people then you just slept with 100 people!.
now to the legal aspect

and this is very inportant!. every state has a consent age some state are 17 others 14 what that means is that if a person has sex wiht someone under the age of consent they can be charge with rape even if the person said yes!. if both people are under the consent age the oldest person out of the two can be charged with rape!. even if your sober and say yes by going on the news and telling all of america your willing!. its still not legal, and depending on the state the person could go to prison for 15 or even 25 years and have to regester a sex offender for the rest of his or her life!. but with the way your choosing your going to be 15 a mom and some guy in jail or the guy will be gone and youll be a mom all on your own!. just because you said yes once doesnt mean you have to say yes again!. and by the way more then 95% of the people who say that they are doing it arent and if it even goes this slow at your school by monday everybody is going to know!. and what they call you will be allot worse then what the people on here have said!. your just lucky its summer soon!.

No, there should be no physical consequences of having had sex at 12, as long as it doesn't hurt you now, and as long as you haven't contracted a disease through practicing unsafe sex!. The reason people discourage 12 year olds from having sex is that it's a very big emotional issue, and 12 year olds aren't equipped to handle all of those repercussions!. You may be OK, but it may also be that you find you have troubling thoughts about your sexual experiences because of the emotional issues!. I encourage you to wait to have sex until you're older and more mature!. Just because you have already had sex does not mean you need to have sex again in the near future!. First I would take a pregnancy test and make sure you are not pregnant!. You can get pregnant without having your first period because you ovulate first!.
Next I would get tested for STD's!.

Listen 12 is too young for all of that!. No more sex until you have matured!. You are not broken and your period will come when it is time!. Why are you having sex at such a young age!? Is it the thing to do!? What if you do get pregnant!. Are you ready to be a mom at 13!? If boys only want you because you have sex with them, those are not the boys you want!. okay, that's pretty younge, but you will be able to still have babies later in life, and as for your period, that can come at any time, wether yiou have had sex or not, okay, i didn't start untill i was 16, some people i know started at 11, it just depends, everybodies diffrent!. Most people say it is bad to have sex at 12!. I haven't but when your ready do what your little heart desires!. Anyway, you will still get you period and if you have your period in most cases you can concieve!. But when you have sexual intercourse make sure to use protection!. If you have enough horomones going around(even if you haven't had your period), you could get pregnant!. This rarely happens though!.
