Periods/Tampons?????!
Question: Periods/Tampons!?!?!?!?!?
I have some friends in college, and last week she started her very first period, and cos I wasn't on mine I didn't have anything to give to her but the whole day she just walked around and went into lessons and she was on her period!.
I told her to go home and take a bath and she said no it will be ok and everytime she sat down on the chair she would leave marks on the chair and other people would be sitting there after her!.
I rang her mum in the end and told her what had happened and her mum said she would come and collect her, and when her mum came she went home just got a bath and then came back with nothing on again even thou she was on her period!.
I felt awful cos I didn't have anything to give her!!! She came around to my house and she has left allsorts of marks on the settees and my mum has blamed me and it wasn't me I told my mum that it was my friend and she has said ok so my mum had told me to give her some protection which I did and she won't try anything!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ignore everyone else's comments! Dont dump your friend just because she's started her period and is expiercencing difficulties you might say!. Im 13 but i suppose i know what im talking about!. Maybe you should try and explain to her why she needs to wear a pad and stuff and tell her shes leaving blood on chairs and places for other people, Also explain that its normal and everything!. At first she might throw this back in your face but after a few days when people start noticing she will be very embarresed and will need you there as a true friend!. Anyways she's probarly in denial or thinks its a one of and isnt really a period!. Ask her why she wont wear anything like a pad or use a tampon!? But dont act wierd or anything when she tells you as it could be very personal and you dont want to make her feel wierd and insecure!.
