Question: How do i ask my mum if i can shave!?
I am 11 and i want to shave my legs and underarms, how do i ask my mum!?
Me and my mum dont really talk about stuff like that lol!
I really do need to shave my underarmsand legs because they are really hairy and dark and very noticable, even some of my friends have noticed and they all shave! i have even said to my mum , "omg my legs are sooo horrible and hairy" and i looked at her but she didnt click on!. :(

Just tell her!.!.you say "mom, I think I need to shave my legs, do you think you could help or show me the right way" !.!.!.trust me, she will! Sometimes with conservative parents, the puberty/adult stuff doesn't click right away, and passive-agressiveness doesn't work!. You can sit your mom down and have a serious shaving talk with her!. And it's the summertime, so it's the perfect time to do it!.
I, like, you, am a very hairy girl (I even get it on my TOES!.), and started shaving at about your age!. Say that it hurts your self esteem, and she can even get you your own razor!. " Mom, can I ask you something!? How old were you when you started shaving!? "When she asks Why!? Explain that you feel really uncomfortable and self concious about your leg hair and that others have commented on it!. If she doesn't want you using a razor because you'd cut your self, ask about the creams available for that!. Easy to use and no bleeding involved!. Don't whine if she says not right now!. Wait a while and try another time!. Give her time to get used to the idea that puberty is coming soon!. Oh and make sure you have Period facts too, if you don't already!. Just tell her that you really need to do this!. When I started shaving, I didn't ask my mom (not saying that this is the best choice for you)!. I just took one of my moms razors, and shaved my legs!.!.!.oh so carefully, and I got out of the shower, and got dressed, and sat on the couch next to my mom!. She put her hand on my leg, and gave me this look like WTF! I smiled, and she smiled, and that was it!. I don't know how your mom would react to that, but she DOES understand what you are going through!. Mom's have all been there before!. I'd just confront her!. Tell her you are growing up, and that it is becoming uncomfortable for you, and that you want to get rid of it!. Tell her it embarrasses you that you don't do it and that your friends have even pointed it out and it embarrasses you!. She'll (hopefully) understand! Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
same thing that happend to me!. Be like mom i really want to shave my legs and i think i am old enough to do it!. please!. You have to learn how to do it now because it gets even harder laster like it was hard for me to tell my mom i had my period!. i got it 2 weeks ago!. i know what your going through i just asked my mom this weekend
she agreed to buy me veet and it actually worked she was afraid of letting me shave because i could hurt myself so she got me the veet instead

Just do it!. Honestly!. If you ask and she says no and you end up doing it anyway she'll be more angry!. Whereas if you just do it, then she can't tell you off for not listening to her =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
