Question: Please help! When can I get this Implanon taken out!?
I got this implanon inserted in April!. I Have been on my period for 6 weeks now with constant headaches and feelings of nausea!. I want to get it taken out now but I heard that many doctors dont like to take it out until after a year!. I also read that many times the bleeding doesnt stop until 6 months and I dont want to wait that long!. Do you know if it is possible for me to get it taken out right away!?

you should be able to have it taken out at any time if it's not right for you then no one is going to make you keep it!. However I would give it a bit more of a chance I have had the implanon for 2 years and the first 3-4 months were difficult with heavy bleeding but after that I have had no periods which is fantastic and I don't have to worry about missing a pill so it is worth persevering!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, I've had mine in for 4 months now and my HAIR is falling out from it, aside from the fact that I cramp 24/7 from the thing!. They better take mine out because I'm not waiting a year, I might be bald by then!. :-( Try calling again tomorrow - that's what I'm doing!. They can't force us to keep something in that we want removed!. If they argue, you can always threaten to switch doctors or with a lawsuit lol J/K about the lawsuit part!. (Unless of course it gets that bad! lol) :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
it's your body so being your choice!. any doctor cannot tell you they will not take it out!. especially if your body isnt agreeing with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
