I have a few itchy bumps on my left nipple. What is this?!
Question: I have a few itchy bumps on my left nipple!. What is this!?
I've looked online for answers, and can't really find what I'm looking for!. The bumps are very very small, like a tiny pimple!. No white heads or anything!. They're red, and a little itchy!. They're actually ON my nipple, not on the area surrounding the nipple!. When they rub against my shirt or when I'm washing in the shower, and wash my chest, they hurt really bad!. I don't have any insurance, otherwise I'd go to a doctor!. They've only been there for 2 days or so, but I know it's not normal FOR me, so I'm just wondering if anybody else has had this problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since you can't get to an MD, try some over the counter remedies!.!.!.if that doesn't work, you may have to bite the bullet and pay for a visit!.
You might try some 'cracked breast cream'!.!.!.if it's just as issue of dry skin/irritation that should work!.
You could also try a small amount of benedryl cream or cortisone cream applied directly to the area!. Could be you had a small critter got inside your bra, or got you in your sleep!? One never knows what causes these things, but the itching we do as a result can make things worse!.
If you stop the itching long enough to allow skin irritations to clear up, and perhaps go away completely, then problem solved!.
If irritation lasts beyond a few days, or gets worse/infected, then you must seek the assistance of a medical professional!.
Many cities have walk in urgent care centers, and accept people without insurance with fees on a sliding scale - so don't let no insurance stop you from seeking care if you can't get it to go away!.
