I just started birth control??!
Question: I just started birth control!?!?
i went to the gynocologist for the first time this past friday
i was on my period while i was there so he didnt do any exams!. anyways, for a few reasons he put me on YAZ birthcontrol!. i started it on sunday while i was still on my period!.!.!.!.!.
!.i just wanted to know of any side effects or an changes that going on birth conrtol causes!?!?!? im kinda nervous about it so if anyone wants to offer and advice from expirience i would appreciate it!

I'm on birth control!.!. and for me there were no major changes!. Some days, especially during the first few days of the pack, you may feel a little sick to your stomach, try to always eat a little something with it!. You may also have minor mood swings as well!. Overall, it's not a big change at all! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
I personally did not like being on Yasmin (which is basically the same thing as Yaz is now), but I had a few reasons why!. At first it was fine, but after taking it for 2 years, it's like my body sick of taking it!. While I did like the dependability of it, the side effects were extreme for me!. First of all, it made my emotions uncontrollable!. I was crying one minute and the next I was raging mad about nothing!. Stupid commercials made me cry and I felt like I was always crabby!. As for lessening the cramps, it actually made mine worse!. They were so bad some days I could not get up!. It also made me gain weight like crazy!. I think my experience was uncommon, but I know it has happened to other people as well!. I personally was no satisfied with Yasmine, but you may have a better time with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
read the paper that comes with your birthcontrol packet!. side effects are different for everyone!. i had to go through 6 different kinds before i found one that was right for me!. a few that i tried made me sick and throw up!. one made me gain weight, and other effects!. i have been on yasmin for two years and i love it!. my little sister takes yaz for two years and has had no side effects she loves it!. she is super skinny!. just read the paper so you know what to look for incase you have any problems!. best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I guess the side effects would depend mostly upon why you're on birth control!. If you're on it because of hormonal issues, you might feel dizzy for a few days!. Your breasts might feel tender for a while!. Also, you may gain weight!. Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
it gives you a lighter period, less cramping during your period, better control of acne, and on yaz it improves your mood

I am going to give you my personal experience by each brand of what I went through both the good and the bad!. This won't necessarily happen to you in any extent, but it can potentially happen!. Anyways, here was my experience:
Alesse (Sept 2007!.!.!.1 month) - Pros
-didn't have cramping
-no nausea
Alesse (Sept 2007!.!.!.1 month) - Cons
-depression/crying spells
-constant headaches
-constant fatigue (no amount of sleep would suffice)
-continual bleeding until I went onto the inactive pills
-didn't even begin to clear up my face
-dizziness (to the point of feeling drunk)
Diane-35 (Oct 2007 for 1 and a half weeks) - Pros
-SUPER SUPER soft skin!!
-bigger breasts (although sometimes very sore, it was a luxury I was willing to take!)
Diane-35 (Oct 2007 for 1 and a half weeks) - Cons
-was stopped immediately due to blood clot formation/dvt
-needle-like pain in calf, toes/feet, thigh, abdomen, arm
-sudden weakness, dizziness and lightheadedness
(both related to the possible blood clot formations)
-still got cramps
-very nauseaus after the first couple nights of taking it
-did not clear up my face (due to the length of time I was on it)
Ortho 0!.5/35 (Oct 2007-Feb 2008!.!.!.3 months) - Pros
-really nice and soft skin
-cleared up my face beautifully
-no emotional dissorders
-full breasts (less sore than the diane-35)
