Not scary at all! The first time I had to use them I was in 6th grade and we were on a family vacation at a water park!. Just stick with the lowest absorbency and you will exerience less anxiety about the size, etc!. It is also very important to be relaxed when you are inserting the tampon!. Haha no!. They arent as bad as they seem!. Its like taking a poop!. Seriously!. That same feeling is like what happend when you go poop!. Tampax pearl is the best!. It dosent even hurt!. I promise!. When you take them out push out like your making a poop and pull the string!. When your insirting the tampon, squat and insert the tampon!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the idea is scary but millions of women use them so they cant be that bad rite!? really theyre not that bad!. dont think about it too much just get playtex gentle glide and do it =P if u think about it u mite chicken out!. and dont use a mirror!.!.!.its too weird!. use ur finger to find ur vagina!. once u get it done a few times itll be second nature!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

At first it was really hard for me!.!.!. but thats just because nothing has ever been up there!. lol!. Use the plastic tampax pearl maybe, and try the lightest tampon just to get used to it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
