Are you talking about the Implanon!? It is about the size of a match stick and it just gets inserted under your arm with a needle!. Yes they work!. They are 99!.9% reliable!. You do not need to take any pills while you have the implanon!. It lasts for 3 years before you need to get it removed and have a new one inserted!. You just need condoms to protect against STDs!. I have had 3 implanons and i love not having to remember a pill everyday!. They can cause irregular periods, or if you are lucky like me, they will stop your periods all together while you are on the implanon!.
