Ways to find relief?!

Question: Ways to find relief!?
I recently asked a question about whether I have a yeast infection or not!. I have taken my medication prescribed by the doctor, but it is something that will take a few days to kick in!. I am run down and sick with tonsillitis, so I am not a happy camper!. Anything you can suggest for some bit of relief for the time being till the medication hopefully kicks in!.

Also if the medication doesn't kick should I just go to over the counter products or back to the doctor!. The doctor I saw suggested both to me when I saw him today!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it's hard to say without knowing what medication you are taking!. I am assuming that he gave you something for a yeast infection!. If he gave you Diflucan you can certainly go get something over the counter like monostat and use that at the same time, it won't hurt you!. If you do have a yeast infection though be aware that the vaginal medications can cause the itching to get a little worse when you first use it and then it will more than likely stop itching in about 30 minutes after you use it!. You can go to your local pharmacy and pick up a bottle of acidophilus caplets or tablets and start taking those every day!. They help to balance your normal flora in your body and will help you to not get these infects again!. Also always try to heal yourself of illness without taking antibiotics, they are the leading cause of yeast infections!. More and more doctors today are only writing antibiotic scripts to make patients feel better mentally because no one wants to leave the doctors office empty handed!. I'm a pharmacy tech and I see way too many patients taking antibiotics that don't need them, that's why I'm telling you this!. Here are some tips, stay away from beer, cake, bread, douching, etc!. Try to wear pads whenever you can instead of tampons, keep it dry as you can down there, and never put stuff down there like FDS spray and powders, they cause infection too!. Well that's all that I can tell you!. I hope you feel better soon!. Oh if you go get the acidophilus pills, be sure you put them in the fridge after you open them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi, I would suggest that while you are taking the medication that you might want to get something like yoghurt that contains good bactrea(sp) Also a good Multi-vitamin as well to help boost your immune system!.

Sometimes when taking anti-biotics you can get thrust, so if you think you might have thrust then go to your local pharmacy and ask them for a treatment!. There are quite afew different treatments that you only need to do the once!

Hope you're feeling better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can't give you any medication because i am not a doctor and i can't see exactly what is going on with your tonsillitis!. I have bad time with these!. My suggestion is that you massage your tonsillitis or let someone else message it and let them put force while massaging it because even though it might hurt the time they are messaging it you will feel a relief after they are done!. And you could drink ginger and make sure its hot and it will also helpWww@Answer-Health@Com
