Depends on what you mean!. If you're talking about short-term damage- tears and rips in the anal lining and whatnot- then yes, sometimes they do!. Anal tissue is pretty delicate, and so rough sex will often leave this damage, even if it isn't obvious during the actual act of sex!.
If you're talking about long-term damage, though, then nah, not really!. The anus is pretty resilient- you can stretch it dang wide and it will shrink back to its tight little size (given that it's an actual organ instead of just an empty cavity like the vagina)!.
