My boyfriend and I recently started having sex!. I had never had sex before so we took the first time slow!. It hurt but I expected it to!. We've had sex 3 or 4 times since and every time it hurts like crazy!. I bought lube for us to use but it didn't seem to make a difference!. Hey there hon!

Unlike what others have suggested here, as well meaning as they may be, pain and bleeding during sex, isn't usual!. That said however, it does not mean there is anything seriously wrong either!. As you've only recently started a sexual relationship, a little blood loss could be down to an intact or partially intact hymen!. It doesn't always bleed, but it can do and it certainly isn't serious!.

An intact or partially intact hymen, not only can bleed, but it also can cause some discomfort too!. So again, it is not something serious!.

My concern is you say it hurts like crazy!. It really shouldn't do, but please don't panic - again, it's probably nothing serious!. When new to sexual intercourse, without even knowing it you can be very tense and nervous!. Having had a couple of uncomfortable experiences prior, when you try again you may become even more tense!. It's perfectly natural, and even happens to someone like me at 33! The problem is, you become very tight and aren't as lubricated as you could be!. Although, you are using lubricant, this eventually dries out and is not quite as good as your own natural stuff! It really does sound like a case of being a little too tense, maybe a bit nervous, and probably a little anxious in light of your recent experience!.

Do you have time to relax and take your time at foreplay!? Have you got somewhere safe and secure where you won't be interrupted!? Starting a new sexual relationship at any age needs time for relaxing, exploring each other and getting in the mood!? I really think whilst you are getting to know each other's bodies and the sexual relationship, you need to take things alot slower!. Try getting each other excited and to orgasm without even having intercourse!. Learn to turn each other on in every other way without having full sex!. If you can do this, then you know you're relaxed!

I would also recommend going to see someone at the Brook Advisory Clinic!. They deal with anyone under 25 years old, and will answer any questions or concerns that you have!. They can, if you wish, give you a little examination just to check all is well medically, but will certainly give you the right advice and support!.

All the very best, don't fret and take care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

first few times may be normal but i would def see your doctor if it continues!. Bleeding between periods or after sex should always be investigated if it is a regular occurance!.

I had the same problem and discovered i had cancerous cells that needed removing!. If i had not seen my gp i may never have caught it early enough to be treated!.

Your life is more important than any feelings of shyness or embarrassment!. They've seen it all before and will treat you with respect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be that your hymen has not completly ruptured!. When I first had sex it hurt too!. But once my hymen was completely ruptured it did not hurt anymore and sex was much better!. And yes it is common to bleed after having sex the first few times it is just your hymen breaking!. As how to reduce the pain I am not sure but you should be fine soon!.!.!. keep having sex :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

thats ur hymen breaking its normal!. it will take some time to get easier and lesss painful as there are some women who have or had thicker hymens!. you see as we grow up the activities we do as children also influence the thickness when u grow up!. eg sports, horse riding etc!.!.
ask him to take it easy and yes lube is a great idea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your hymen is being broken!.!.it bleeds when that happens!. But it shouldn't be bleeding a whole lot!. I'd wait a few days inbetween sex and see if the pain starts to go away a little each time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its is normal to bleed after sex but if it carries on then i would go and see your G P and see if there is anything that she can do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

might be embarrassing but speak to your GP there must be female one at your surgery this will put your mind at rest hope you get on wellWww@Answer-Health@Com

at school, they say leave it 7-14 days after your first timeWww@Answer-Health@Com

if it keeps hurting go see a doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com
