Problem. Kinda gross-warning!?!
Question: Problem!. Kinda gross-warning!!?
I switched my birth control pills about 2months ago from a brand where the hormones vary within the cycle, to a constant dosage!.
This past week or so (not during the time where one is supposed to have their period) I have had some weird dark, bloody discharge!.
I also had the flu and have been having trouble getting back to eating normally, have lost weight, etc!.
So is it the birth control change!? or some combination of birth control and diet problems!?
Thanks for any insight!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
dark bloody discharge were you feeling crampy and was the flu more like stomach flu because break thru bleeding is not normally dark, I would say if bloody discharge persists go to the doctor it may be the pill change or it may be something more serious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Maybe its because you switched medicines so fastWww@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds just like break through bleeding and it's very common when you switch pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would say its a mixture of both
and the bleeding is probably just old blood nothing to worry aboutWww@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like your body is adjusting to the hormones in the meds!. I would call your dr just to make sure!. They should be happy to answer your question!. Best of luck to you girl!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think it is a change in your hormaone levels!.!. that happened to me, it is kinda like spotting but more "older" blood!.!. if that makes sense! If it continues after the next month or so I would talk to your doctor!. It isn't that uncommon! Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
If it is really dark it is just old blood, the older endometrial cells are naturally darker or browner because they have been dead longer!. Likely it was caused by the switch compounded with the diet and stress issues upsetting your cycle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
