You might want to try taking a warm (not hot) bath. That might help a bit with the pain and swelling. You'll definitely have to tell your parent because you'll probably have to see a doctor (gyn) to have it examined.

im not sure but you really do need to tell your mom because it could be anything. you would rather get it checked out now by the geinocologist before it could be to late. im not trying to scare you, but if it hurts and all the stuff you are saying that maybe it could be serious. your better safe then sorry

It could be a large pimple. But you should see the gyno just in case.
If you have any sexual contact by the mouth you can get an std. If you dont feel comfortable with telling her you can always go to planned parent hood, they have programs that can pay for the apointment and it is all confidential so they could help you to figure out what it is. good luck doll.
definatly get it checked out. it may or may not be serious, as the clitoris is a sensitive part, because its made out of millions of nerve endings, which means even a pimple can hurt. but would definatly get it checked out! good luck! and dont be embarrassed, cause doctors do things like that all the time! its there job!
