Birth control choices with less side effects than the pill desegen?!

Question: I was told the desegen would clear my face up, which it has, but also, that it *might* make me a little moody. Yeah, it's made me crazy haha. Since I've been on it, especially around my period, I am a total beeotch or I can't stop crying or whatever, to a ridiculous extent. I've also gained say 15 pounds. :( Anybody have any suggestions on better methods? I would prefer a hormonal one....

hi - i tried 8 different pills before and i had to come off them as i was like an anti-Christ. none of them worked for me. i was either depressed / angry.

i have the Marena and is the best. but you do have to have given birth to get it in. I have it in now since i had my daughter about 2yrs ago.

most of my friends have the bar in their arms. it's only a tiny thing, but one of them is really moody with this too, you could try it and see how you are and have it removed if your not happy with it - it's doesn't hurt.

there is also the injection too - you get that in your bum . . . there is also a patch for your bum that you just stick on for the month - but depends where your from . . . this is not available in every country yet.

Shop around, try out different birth control pills, patches or injections. They are all a little different and all react differently with your own hormones, so no two women will experience the same thing. Just keep changing the brand until you find one you like. Most of them do have the annoying side effect of gaining weight. Talk to your doctor about other birth control methods and see what he/she suggests. Why don't you go to Planned Parenthood clinic, you can get an exam and birth control for free. Hope this info. helps!
