You can go to a planned parenthood. They dont tell your parents.
Well i have tried 3 different kinds of BC.
1. Patch: worked lol didnt get pregnant. i never forgot to put one on or take off its really easy. you cant forget about it because it is stuck to your butt, or wherever. the only bad thing was taking it off. i wanted to cry every week, it was so sticky since it was meant to stay on for a week that it did not want to come off. thought it was ripping off my skin every time.
2. Pill: worked again. Way easier to forget then the patch. not a good thing. Dont forget you need to take around the ame time everyday. i did get sick off of this every new cycle of pills but i did on the patch too.
3. the ring: i didnt like it it was weird having to go fish it out once a month. and I do have sex alot and my boyfriend was afriad to have it come out, which it did a couple times. i got a little sick from this too.
4. now i just use condoms. have for 1 year and still not pregnant. every choice does its job if used correctly but i just perfer condoms because i dont get sick from them and we are very good at using one everytime.
I hope that helps you diecide what kind to use. Planned parenthood has all these choices if i remeber correctly.

Well you are over 16.. this allows you to go on the pill on your own! You should go on the pill. It has plenty of advantages. Controls hormones, regulates periods, birth control ect. You dont have to let her know. Be safe

If you are each other's first partner then you should be safe to use the pill. But, sometimes it can fail, although the success rate is over 99%.

abstinance is the best birth control. My friend got pregnant on the pill and my cousin useda condom and got pregnant. MAke sure u are going to be able to accept the responsibility and consequences of your actions
