No, it is not necessarily true. However, the first year of menstruation is usually irregular, so it is not uncommon for girls to have 2-3 months between their first and second periods. This is because your body is still adjusting to menstruation.

It is difficult to predict your periods during the first year because they are so irregular. My advice is to wear a thin pantiliner to protect your underwear, and keep a pad in your purse or backpack.

I hope I helped!

That's not always true, but most girls are very irregular when they start their periods. Some girls may go for 2 or 3 months without getting one again, and some girls may have periods very close together. (like within 2 weeks of each other.) It'll eventually even out!

nope this isnt true but dont worry if you dont have your second period till this long after as at first your periods will be irregualer x

For some girls it might be true. Not all girls have regular cycles in the beginning. It can take a few years before everything regulates itself. Some girls never have regular cycle.

my first one came exactly 1 month after the first..then waited almost 2 months for the next, they will come and go when they please until it settles down.

no its not true!!! when i started mine....the next moth i had mine. if u have cramps now i would wear a pantiliner. thats the advice i can give u. but talk to an aunt....older female cousin...or bff who has hers.
