Everyone is quick to point out that it is the latex, which MAY be true, but my gf told me it happens when she is not fully turned on....
A possbile reason for this burning and itching comes from the fact that just about all name brand condoms now have lube on them already, and when a guy pushes in and you aren't completely wet, the pushing in creates micro tears in the vaginal walls where this lube gets into. Lube is good to make entry easier, but they don't put enough lube on the condom (try wearning a slightly damp latex glove and dragging it against your damp arm) and it still hurts when the lube gets into an open cut (or tear). What you might want to try, if you are not allergic to latex (patch test on the arm), is using extra lube on the tip of the condom before first push (KY and other WATER BASED lube), because it helped when my gf and I had sex. Or you could get him into foreplay to get things extra ready FOR YOU, before you have sex.

Well, you might have a latex allergy, I suppose.
I am highly allergic to latex, and when I come in contact with it I get a bad itchy rash.

I was allergic to condoms and had similar symptoms to you the only way to avoid symptoms is to find condoms that are not made from latex.

Some people are born with a genetic predisposition to be allergic to latex. However, repeated exposure to latex is necessary for an allergy to develop.

Allergy to latex comes in two different forms. One form is called a "delayed hypersensitivity" which is usually seen as a skin rash at the site where the latex product contacts the skin. This rash can be quite severe. A more dangerous form of latex allergy is an "immediate reaction" to latex. This is also referred to as anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis can result in seriously low blood pressure, breathing difficulty, and even death. Some patients can experience irritation of the nasal passages similar to hay fever (allergic rhinitis).

To detect the delayed hypersensitivity reaction, latex, its preservatives and accelerators are placed on the skin using a standard patch test. Caution is used because an immediate reaction is possible with patch testing. To detect an immediate reaction, a blood test and skin test is available. With latex allergy, the blood test is performed first because of the potential severe reaction.

try rubbing some a and d on before sex

I'm allergic to latex. I noticed it when I had a latex bandaid on for about 2 days and then had a terrible itchy rash where it was stuck to me. If you wanna find out if you really are allergic that's one way to find out.

Depends on the condom you use. Either you are allergic to the Latex or the Spermicide on the latex. Lmab Skin condoms are good for preventing allergic reactions.

you get an inflammed itchy rash.
If you are concerned go to see your doctor not the most pleasent of things.
or from know on use latex free condoms they are expensive to buy so i suggest you go to your local family planning clinic where they can prescribe you 12 free a month.

Take care
xx
