yes it is normal it can sometimes happen!!
Look at the table on this sight: http://www.epigee.org/health/lateperiod....

It has some good info on there about it!! If it keeps happening then I would see your doctor it may be a sign of stress or severe weight change. It may even be a vitamin deficiency that you may have to find out about! Don't worry too much though as sometimes you will just miss them, mainly due to stress! It may even be a hormonal problem that can be controlled by the contraceptive pill so i would not worry its not a big problem i'm sure!!

yea its normal i was 12 and skipped it for 2 months as well :D i wasent sexually active at 12 LOL!

as normal as the world spinning on its axis....ool das a good 1...neway nuffin 2 b worried bowt....dat happens all da tym 2 mostly every woman on dis earth...if it consists tho...do go 2 a doctor...xXx

if it has been regular for over 2 yrs and it has suddenly stopped there may be something wrong so a trip to the nurse may be a good idea
it might just be a little regulation which is normal as you are growing
going on the pill can help regulate a period

yeh it is
i missed mines 4 like half a year or summit haha

It does happen. If it concerns you too much, have your mom/dad take you to the doctor. Since your not sexually active(good for you) you can rule out pregnancy. Your body is going through changes, it's normal.

obgyno !

I have never experianced this before but you should visit you gp urgently. It could just be an infection but it also could be serious. If your embarrassed about it then try to bok a female doctor as she will have experianced this kind of thing before. Don't worry as it will probably be nothing but it is worth getting it checked out. Good Luck. xx

The menstrual cycle is genetically and hormonally determined cycle in women reproductive system.
Sometimes young girls have difficult period from first menstruation up to fully developed regular menstrual cycles. It will take some time to fully develop the mature regular menstrual cycle. Please be also informed that in general menstrual cycles are very sensitive to stress, emotional situations, infections, etc.
Just be patient. Usually by 18-20 year the menstrual cycle will be fully developed, your daughter
