Ever had a hysterectomy?!
Question: Please tell me your experience. I had one last week. I only had the uterus removed due to cancer.

I just had one on March 13. The doctor left my ovaries. I never realized how much I used my stomach muscles for EVERYTHING. Becareful not to do too much. I ended up back in the hospital just this past week for 5 days because of bleeding. If it hurts, stop. If your tired lay down.

I had a long hysterectomy. First the doctor's thought I had cancer on my uterus. Took it out by it's self and nothing was wrong. Then 2 months down the road I had to get my right ovary taken out because it spider webbed it self to my left ovary. So after that I was OK with just one ovary. So 2 years go by and I start having trouble again. So on March 18, 2008 I had my last ovary taken out. I have never felt better. I've lost 4 lbs not even trying. I have more energy. So finally I am happy with all of it being gone. I'm sorry about you getting cancer. I hope everything is OK now. Now I'm on 1mg of esteriol. I haven't noticed any changes.
