Is it true a woman stops growing/developing at age 18 ?!

Question: So the literature says. Due to the fact that girls start hormonal changes earlier than boys at age 13. But nowadays they develop earlier than 13 but at 18 or around there they are at their peak of growth and development. So any growth after would slow down and the significance wouldn't be as great.

But it does not entirely mean at 18 growth/ development stops. At 18 the growth slows down and time after will plateau.

I hope not!

its just the average age. it is not always the case. some girls have been known to have growth spurts outside of the supposed age limit.

i hope so my breasts are big enough LOL! but then again, i hope not cause im really short lol

well height wise normally you dont grow much when you start your period.

nope. Some women never stop developing! Your body changes with hormones, babies, lifestyles.

It's just an average. Think back to those "early bloomers" around age 10-11 and realize that the average counts them too.

the average woman has her last growth spurt around 20 the average man has his around 18.
