Please read! Thanks!?!
Question: Hey ya'll,
I posted a question last night about some test results and the possibility of ovarian cancer and got an overwhelming response to seek a second opinion. The test I had done was a CT scan by my normal physician. I don't want to go to the gynecologist I have right now because I am not a big fan of her, so I am seeking another one. At my appointment, I am looking for my doctor to look at the radiology report as well as the CT scan films that were provided to me. I want to be sure the cysts that they found aren't cancerous and want to make sure nothing is overlooked. Do you think I would be better off with a male or a female gynecologist? Or do you think I should go to a specialist other than a gyn? Basically, what would you do if you were in my situation?? Thanks for all of your help!
