Which BC pills have the fewest side effects?!
Question: I used progestin only pills for about 6 or 7 months. They did their job, but after being off of them for a month, I've realized I miss my hormones! While I was on the pill, my libido went down to zero and sex was painful due to the vaginal dryness. As much as I don't want kids right now, I don't think it's a valid trade off. I've heard the side effects sometimes aren't as bad with combined pills. Has anyone used both and noticed a difference?

I have used both the high dose and low dose estrogen combined pills and my personal experience is the low dose pills have the fewest side effects.
However, it also depends on your body. Your body may react differently than mine did.
The best idea is to discuss it with your doctor and perhaps try them to see how things go.
