Norethisterone tablets..?!

Question: My doctor prescribed me Norethisterone tablets to balance out my hormones, i have been taking these for about 2 weeks and now i feel like i'm on my period but i the tablets should stop it. It's around the time my period would be if i wasn't taking the tablets, i have the cramps but no blood, just a bit of dark discharge really. Is this normal?

The tablets are working, but not fully. If your next period is the same way, tell your doctor.
