My vaginal area has a rash and the skin is peeling?!

Question: i had a yeast infection and didn't know i had it a couple days before i started my period. when i got my period, i wore pads. Before i started, I shaved the area. After i ended my period, the skin was so irritated and kept scratching against the pad that i had scabs down there (labia majora, anal, vaginal areas). Now, the skin is really flaky and dry. Is there a cream/ lotion out there that i can use to fix this problem fast? its starting to get itchy and pimples are starting to develop. My bf is coming back this weekend so i want it to clear up by then. thanks! and sorry if it was too detailed for you.

If you GYN tells you that you're STD free it could be a bacterial infection and you should go see a Dermatologist. The good bacteria on your body might be fighting itself. I had the same problem and the Dermatologist gave me some cream and fixed it right up. It ended up being that I was using anti bacterial soap and the good bacteria that's supposed to be on my skin was getting too clean and I didn't have the bacteria to fight off.

So I wouldn't freak out just yet, call the Derm and get in ASAP!

go see a doctor or gynae. this is sounding suspiciously like herpes. please don't take it as read that i'm right, go and get a thorough check up.

there is going to be practically nothing that a doc or gynae hasn't already seen, so please don't put it off.

See a doctor.. sounds like you have a STD...Better safe then sorry!

see a doctor so you can stop suffering

I would def wait for my results before I had sex again. Also even if its just a bad yeast infection, you might want to wait a week or two after it's gone to have sex, because you could infect your partner or it could come back. I would just wait and see what the outcome of this is before I would worry about having sex again.

If you saw the doctor why didn't you ask her what you could use for the itchiness. plus should ed do anything with b/f until get results from test and what about protection.
