They're the same, in terms of what your body gets. There are many different strengths of those forms, too.

Are we talking birth control? I'm not sure about the strength of both, but I know pills are safer. When you use the patch you are more likely to get a blood clot.

nope, just a different way to get the meds into your body

not really - but patches are more convenient since you only replace it once a week - unlike pills that you need to take once a day.

if youre talking about birth control, then they both have the same risks, dosages, and effects.
